The Parent and Family Wellness Center is a team of clinicians with expertise and passion in perinatal and early-family wellness. We strive to create an atmosphere of learning and connection among our staff. We are a growing organization, and we are looking for enthusiastic, passionate individuals who are interested in growing alongside us!
We are seeking a senior-level clinician to join our supervisory team, half-time or full-time. The Supervising Psychotherapist will play a key role on the clinical management team, and will support programmatic growth and development, oversee clinician administration, and provide direct clinical supervision to a small group of clinicians. This person is ready to stretch their wings and roll their sleeves up, and is excited about creatively meeting the needs of PFWC staff and clinicians alike. Supervising experience is not a must (but is wonderful if you have it)--what is necessary is strong clinical intuition, a dedication to learning, and demonstrated progressively responsible roles in the clinical realm.
There are a variety of experience profiles that could be a good fit for this role on our team. This could mean someone with a great deal of experience that is making their way towards a later-career change. It could also be someone earlier in their career with strong clinician capabilities and a passion for supervision and mentorship, who is eager to learn and grow quickly.
The ideal candidates:
- Are committed to reproductive, perinatal, and early family mental health, and have some specialized training and experience with this population
- Provide ethical care with high integrity by honoring his/her strengths and seeking collaboration & support from colleagues when necessary;
- Are committed to ongoing professional development in evidence-based and best-practice care;
- Demonstrate strong self-reflective capacity and eagerness to receive reflective supervision/mentorship and serve as an active team member in a collaborative environment;
- Are enthusiastic about participating in a wellness community with a commitment to collaborative client care.
- Are interested in reflective practice and supervision, and have a passion for helping clinicians develop their own unique professional identities.
- Work independently to provide clients with an exceptional therapy experience by representing the Parent and Family Wellness Center through excellent judgment and professional conduct at all times.
- Are currently paneled with major insurance companies and Medicaid in Colorado, or are willing to become paneled
- Bilingual English & Spanish a plus.
Professional Requirements:
- Full Clinical Licensure in the state of Colorado is required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) and 3000 + post-degree clinical hours;
- At least five years of progressively-responsible experience on a clinical team, preferably with some amount of supervisory experience or interest in clinical supervision;
- Has or is willing to undergo formal basic training in perinatal mental health;
- Has additional training, basic knowledge, or experience with couples and family systems, child-focused therapy, addiction, and/or trauma treatment.
This role could be either a P/T or FT position (20 -40 hours/week), split into dual roles of holding half clinical cases and half supervision of our newer clinicians. Salary depends on # of hours and experience.
